Light luminaries on World Autism Awareness Day in celebration of individuals with autism and those who love and support them!
Every year on April 2nd, in honor of World Autism Awareness Day, landmarks around the globe Light It Up Blue and thousands of people don blue apparel to help increase understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism. The Unumb Center for Neurodevelopment invites the community to join us by purchasing a luminary kit to light outside of homes or businesses.
Children at The Unumb Center had a blast decorating some of the luminaries. Every purchase helps make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. By sharing a photo on social media of your luminaries, tagging us and adding the hashtag #LightItUpBlue, you will be entered to win a Unumb Center swag bag!
Once purchased, kits can be picked up at The Unumb Center for Neurodevelopment, 1505 Blanding Street, Columbia, SC 29201 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you are sponsoring a kit for one of the children we serve to take home, we will send the kit home with them for them to light on April 2nd.
